Lip Colors, No Need To Buy!

If you are lacking on you new favorite lippies, and think you are missing out.
You don't have to miss out anymore!
All you have to do is take a colorless lipbalm, or a lip color you already have and apply that to your lips. Then take one of your favorite eyeshadow colors and apply that as a top coat to create a color. The eyeshadow amazingly locks in the moister of your chapstick to keep it from moving. I thought this was a really nice idea for all of those really expensive lipsticks and just pay $20 on eyeshadow palettes and a simple lipbalm or chapstick to create a color of your own. Or if you have an eyeshadow you don't like to use or using the cheep brands would work just fine on your lips. Now you can create colors that aren't even in stores yet!

Blogmas | My First Heels (Tips)

Friday, December 19, 2014

My first Blogmas day, and first pair of heels yay!
Heels or Pumps are my favorite right now. I used to walk around in my moms heels all the time, and still do now! Haha... In fact these are my moms, but I am borrowing them.

One thing I learned from modeling different heels is that when you first get heels you should make sure they are not to hard to walk in or keep steady. Start with a short heel and work you way up, because it can be hard to walk, and you could stumble upon your feet.
If you work your way up you will know how to walk/run in heels in no time!

Important to Know About Heels!

- Small heels are good for you - this actually takes the strain off your calves

- Running in heels may lead to arthritis - lateral movement of the knees (toward and away from each other), which could contribute to arthritis.

How to Deep Clean Your Makeup Brushes | Lex a' Lucious

Sunday, December 14, 2014

Makeup brushes can get built up with dirt and germs almost every day. Its important to clean them.

How often should I clean them?
Some people clean them every two weeks, others may do them monthly, or yearly. I usually do them monthly because I think that is about the time I see them getting dirty. I think as long as you wash the makeup out of the brush that's all that's counts.

How do I clean them?
I heard that most people clean them with olive oil and anti - bacterial soap. I have tried that and it worked well, and moisturized my brush, but It made it smell like olive oil. I really didn't like the smell of that. I now use any hair conditioner and some shampoo. I also like to use the dove soap hand bar. It makes my brushes moisturized and smell nice and clean. Any of these would work! Just add ingredients in a bowl and move the brush in a circular motion, then rinse with luke warm water.

Cute/Lazy Knot Braid | Lex a' Lucious

Friday, December 5, 2014

If I ever put my hair up in a braid I always like to go for this quick & simple knot braid/fishtail. I love how it looks like diamonds beaded down your hair.
I have a really hard time with getting the fishtail the way I like it and this way is a lot less time consuming. This is actually the one braid I don't complain about doing. All you have to do to make this look happen is first you put your hair into any kind of ponytail you like. Then, you take the hair above the pony holder and poke a hole with your finger. Lastly, you bring the end of the pony towards you and put it through your poked hole. Continue this with ponytail holders until their is no hair left to do it with.
This hairstyle doesn't always look perfect, and you can adjust and make it look the way you want, whether that is messy or absolutely perfect.
This look will last you hours, and easy to take out with less of a tug!
:)

Love Of November Favourites...

Wednesday, November 26, 2014

These November favorites will make you smile!
:)
Wet Brush - This hair brush is works for all hair types. It has flexible, thin, super strong bristles that work through your hair effortlessly. This brush is firm enough to get through you're knots, but flexible enough to protect your scalp. This is one of the BEST detangling brushes I have ever used.

Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo Metal (55 Inked in Pink) - I have never realized how easy cream eye shadow would be. I don't think I want to go back powder eye shadow now. The Maybelline Eye Studio Color Tattoo-Metallic is very long lasting. It also doesn't crease like many powder shadows. I went through a day of school and it was like I just put it on.

CoverGirl Outlast Illumina All-Day Lipcolor - If you want a lipstick that will last you then this is it.  This has a very soft metallic finish. It also comes with a lip balm to apply for moisture. I had to apply this now and then and right after I eat. Although it stays, and not that hard to get it off!

CoverGirl Lipperfection Lip Liner - This is a very creamy and moisturizing lip liner because it contains 60% of skin conditioners. Very pigmented as well. I have the liner above that is in the color "beloved". I use this color for many of my dark pinks to berry reds, which is most of my lipstick colors. This lip liner is so lipperfection.

Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm - This is a very vibrant, velvet, moisturizing balm. It has a soft balm like feel. This is a retractable crayon so no sharpening needed. The balm is filled with Shea, mango, and coconut butter for moister.

Milani Shadow Eyez 12 HR Wear Eyeshadow Pencil - A shadow, liner, and highlighter in one. It is water resistant and crease-proof. This such a buttery eyeshadow, and catches the light. I have the color "1 Winter White". I like this color because its the lightest one. I am very pale so it highlights but not too light.

Make sure to comment one of your favorites of this November!

Creamy-Matte & Glistening Autumn Lipsticks...

Friday, November 14, 2014

These autumn lipsticks are two of my favorites. They are both amazingly creamy and pigmented. The two I have in the pictures above are 660 Touch Of Spice (matte) and 105 Pink Wink (regular). I love these great high quality lipsticks because they are so weightless on your lips you don't even realize that its there. If you have dry lips always or just at the moment don't expect this to do the job. I would strongly recommend a layer of lip balm or chap stick to keep it moisturized (Bert's Bees, Baby Lips, EOS, or Vaseline etc..). I like how they supply your lips with a burst of color and a creamy surge of texture. They are both very similar in color, but different in finishes.
The packaging is so elegant and smooth. I love the finish of the entire product. You can find these Maybelline creamy lip colors at very reasonable prices. The 660 Touch Of Spice (Matte) is $5.49, and the 105 Pink Wink is only $5.59 at www.Target.com.

Mosturising Fall Lips!

Saturday, October 18, 2014
Do you ever get dry lips? I do. I hate having dry lips, and it gets even worse in the fall and through the winter. So, I had to find a solution. I found the following products at the drugstore and they really help with my dry lips, I don't think I would survive without them...

During the day...
EOS(the purple egg)- I really like using EOS. I like using this for day lip care. This really doesn't do much to help you moisturize your lips all day long, I just use it to touch up my lips after I put on a nice layer of baby lips in the morning.

In the AM...

I like using an Baby Lips  or Bert's Bees in the morning. Either of these will keep those lips looking great with a shine for the morning as well as moisturizing.

In the PM...

At night I use the Vaseline Lip Therapy. This is one of the best lip moisturizing balms. This puts a pink sheer on your lips. Keeping your lips pink for all tomorrows perfection.

I hope these help your dry lips entering this fall!

5 Top Tips To Appling Pencil Eyeliner...

Monday, October 13, 2014

Pencil eyeliner is not always easy and takes some practice. Some of these tips you may already know but I'm hoping that most of these tips will help most of you new to this.

1. Always work in parts, using dotted lines with light strokes across your eye work well for me.

2. It's was also really hard for me to keep the line straight. Now I rest my pinkie finger on my cheek and it helps a lot better to keep a steady hand.

3. To get a cleaner line pull the skin away from your eye.

4. To make your eyelashes look bigger and bold make a thicker and more darker line.

5. To make your eyes look bigger I like to keep the line going a little beyond the outer corners.

The Color Of Fall...

Friday, October 10, 2014
When it comes to fall, I love using eye shadow in many different fall shades. These are some of my favorites>>>

1. I love the fall and these fall colors really get me in the mood for fall. The first one is the Victoria Secret Silk Wear Shimmering Powder Eye Colour in the color 87 Starry Eyed. ($11.00)

2. This one is my favorite, the Maybelline Expert Wear eye shadow in all the colors of Mocha Motion. This is one of the best kits, I like this one for the all in one feature with directions on where to apply it, and of course of its crazy cute colors

3. I also really like the Victoria Secret Eye Colour 1 Brush. It is really soft and silky and has a great tip for blending as well as applying.

4. The MK Signature threesome pallet comes with blush and makeup brushes. I really like this combination and color. Although in the picture I only showed the eye shadows that pop out.

You Are Beautiful No Matter What You Say!

Monday, October 6, 2014

“Every girl is beautiful no matter if you have acne, scares, freckles, or marks. Everybody is unique and have their own unique beautiful face. Makeup is just something express your style not your beauty. Don’t think you’re ugly because nobody is. If you ever think you are ugly for a little flaw, that flaw is the beauty in you. Everybody should be proud of their beautiful face. “

OPI vs. Essie (Looks Like Essie Is Outnumbered!)

Sunday, September 14, 2014

OPI and Essie are both very popular and can be found almost in any makeup or drugstore. I personally like OPI because it's thicker and it doesn't streak like Essie. It's also a much better quality. Essie is really thin and you have to put more layers on and it also happens to streak. I also like OPI for the larger brush for faster and easier application and if you have small nails it might not work as well for you. I feel like OPI has more out of the ordinary colors and Essie has the more simple basic colors. I also found that OPI go on sale more often than Essie. I strongly suggest OPI! What is your favorite brand nail polish? (Let me know in the comments below.) Hehe that rhymed... :)

Why I Started a Blog???

Tuesday, August 26, 2014
It all started when I started watching YouTube, but YouTube wasn't really my thing at first until my cousins showed me. I started out watching Miranda Sings, then found out about her main channel Psychosoprano. I watched her videos all the time until I ran unto Zoella. Its so funny how YouTube is just a chain to other YouTuber's out their! I was obsessed with YouTube! (I still am.)

I got so inspired by these YouTuber's, especially Zoella. I tried asking my parents for a YouTube account and they did not agree to it because its just a way for people to make fun of you. Which is right, I guess because superstars go through that too, and so do YouTuber's. It is hard to except "no" but your parents are doing it to keep you safe and out of trouble. Now I have something to look forward to when I get older! So since that didn't work out, I started making YouTube videos on Private so that nobody can see it but its still on YouTube.

I used to be into crafts which I still am but after I got more into watching Zoella, I wanted to be just like her. I got into beauty, fashion, and hair which is why I started a blog about both!!! :) :) :)
