February Faves 2015!

Friday, February 27, 2015

February has been great, with my birthday, snow, and lots of beauty fun. I am so glad February is one month closer to summer. I know its weird, but I am really looking forward to summer and its only the end of February. I'm already searching for new bikinis.

The first thing I have been loving this month is my Lavender Chamomile Body Mist by Sleep.
This smell is very relaxing with its sweetness, but a little sour. Its definitely a strong scent. I like the natural flowery scent although it kind of makes me sneeze.
I have been obsessed with hand sanitizers like forever now and wanted to get more this February, and this are the ones I liked most - the vanilla berry sorbet and Anjou pear. They are so nice and smell amazing. I personally like the fruity ones vs. the sweet sanitizers. These are really cute to pop in your purse or attach to your lunch box.
I love the EOS lotion. I got this one in Berry Blossom. I like the packaging on this, they are really easy to pack in your travel bag. They take up less space. Another thing too they smell amazingly fresh and feel so soft. EOS lotion is super effective and doesn't leave your hands feeling greasy. That is the one thing I love most about it!
Next, I've liked the Milani Brow Fix in color Light. I really haven't tried brow things at all so this was brand new to me. I wanted to get the full kit because I wanted to test things out. Turns out I had no complaints and really liked it. I have nothing to compare this too though, but they are definitely pigmented and nice for on the go too.
I have found lots of new makeup dupes, and found lots of great reviews on Maybelline's Age Rewind Concealer. I have really liked this. It actually fits my skin tone, I wish I could find a foundation this light. The coverage is nice for blemishes and definitely buildable. Let me know in the comments below if you have any foundation requests for super pail skin.
I have been using a lot lately Burt's Bees Honey Lip Balm. I love the way it makes my lips feel. So soft and smells so natural. Its definitely a lip treat!
This last one is my absolute favorite. I usually never wear bracelets, but this one I just love. I wear it almost every day. Its called an Alex & Ani Bracelet, and you can get these with any cute charm that mean something. I got the humming bird represents pursuit of dreams while keeping an open mind to spiritual awakenings.

It has been a great February see u in March!

  ~ Lush Is Simply Amazing...

Lush is defiantly one of my favorite stores. They have so many natural products. I have been loving all of these lush products.
Let's first start with my most favorite, the shower jelly. This jelly comes in a cute pot. It is very moisturizing and soapy. It feels like putting jelly on your skin, and sometimes can be very slick. I personally love how it smells so fresh. I almost want to literally eat it. This one is called "Sweetie Pie". The next one I got was the massage bars. I got one strawberry, and the other in a lavender scent (shaped like a hand). I like these a lot too. Love the smell. Don't worry they are more moisturizing than you think. They are definitely nice in the winter to message your dry hands with. This last one kind of goes with the message bars. It is called "Putty for your Hands".  I like using this to wash with because it doesn't sting while washing my dry hands. This one goes so well because you can use this to wash your hands and after you wash them then you can put the message bar on them. In just days you hands will be simply soft.
And that's why lush is so amazing!

The Evil Eye <> Trendy Fashion

Friday, February 13, 2015

Hello, As many of you may not know I am Greek Orthodox. If you wondering if I believe in gods and goddesses that's all myth. I believe in god. My religion is very much like catholic. I can't pin point what the difference necessarily is though. Anyway, not only has the Greeks believed in this, but many countries all around the Mediterranean sea. It is called the Evil Eye. Weather the evil eye exists or not is all a matter of opinion. The evil eye is supposed to keep the evil sprits away. The definition is, "a piercing look that conveys strong feelings of hatred, disapproval, jealousy, or malice, or that supposedly can cause harm".
People wear them as jewelry and clothing. As a matter of fact it is a popular trend. The evil eye is blue and can look simple and elegant on a dress and jewelry. It is very unique. They come in all shapes and sizes. A lot of celebrities wear them too.

Do you wear the evil eye?

I have been loving my Patagonia ever since I got it for my birthday on Monday and it has been the best. Its so warm and soft. Everybody I saw was wanting to touch it. I found this very breathable, and super cute too. Definitely recommended!

L I F E :

I have been loving this website called Polyvore. You can put together outfits and makeup and post them. It is super fun to play around with when you are bored. You can also post them on your blog, which happens to make it better when you have nothing to post about. Spring outfit inspiration, maybe?

I haven't had this in a very long time until today. It is the nutella French toast rolls. I will tell you if your a nutella fan you will love these. They are too amazingly good. All you have to do is flatten a piece of normal bread and spread nutella all over it. Then, roll it up to dip into egg yolk. Put it on a pan and wait till it becomes golden brown. Then, sprinkle some cinnamon sugar on top and eat!

This was an inspired post from Lily Pebbles :)
