If you are lacking on you new favorite lippies, and think you are missing out.
You don't have to miss out anymore!
All you have to do is take a colorless lipbalm, or a lip color you already have and apply that to your lips. Then take one of your favorite eyeshadow colors and apply that as a top coat to create a color. The eyeshadow amazingly locks in the moister of your chapstick to keep it from moving. I thought this was a really nice idea for all of those really expensive lipsticks and just pay $20 on eyeshadow palettes and a simple lipbalm or chapstick to create a color of your own. Or if you have an eyeshadow you don't like to use or using the cheep brands would work just fine on your lips. Now you can create colors that aren't even in stores yet!

Blogmas | My First Heels (Tips)

Friday, December 19, 2014

My first Blogmas day, and first pair of heels yay!
Heels or Pumps are my favorite right now. I used to walk around in my moms heels all the time, and still do now! Haha... In fact these are my moms, but I am borrowing them.

One thing I learned from modeling different heels is that when you first get heels you should make sure they are not to hard to walk in or keep steady. Start with a short heel and work you way up, because it can be hard to walk, and you could stumble upon your feet.
If you work your way up you will know how to walk/run in heels in no time!

Important to Know About Heels!

- Small heels are good for you - this actually takes the strain off your calves

- Running in heels may lead to arthritis - lateral movement of the knees (toward and away from each other), which could contribute to arthritis.

How to Deep Clean Your Makeup Brushes | Lex a' Lucious

Sunday, December 14, 2014

Makeup brushes can get built up with dirt and germs almost every day. Its important to clean them.

How often should I clean them?
Some people clean them every two weeks, others may do them monthly, or yearly. I usually do them monthly because I think that is about the time I see them getting dirty. I think as long as you wash the makeup out of the brush that's all that's counts.

How do I clean them?
I heard that most people clean them with olive oil and anti - bacterial soap. I have tried that and it worked well, and moisturized my brush, but It made it smell like olive oil. I really didn't like the smell of that. I now use any hair conditioner and some shampoo. I also like to use the dove soap hand bar. It makes my brushes moisturized and smell nice and clean. Any of these would work! Just add ingredients in a bowl and move the brush in a circular motion, then rinse with luke warm water.

Cute/Lazy Knot Braid | Lex a' Lucious

Friday, December 5, 2014

If I ever put my hair up in a braid I always like to go for this quick & simple knot braid/fishtail. I love how it looks like diamonds beaded down your hair.
I have a really hard time with getting the fishtail the way I like it and this way is a lot less time consuming. This is actually the one braid I don't complain about doing. All you have to do to make this look happen is first you put your hair into any kind of ponytail you like. Then, you take the hair above the pony holder and poke a hole with your finger. Lastly, you bring the end of the pony towards you and put it through your poked hole. Continue this with ponytail holders until their is no hair left to do it with.
This hairstyle doesn't always look perfect, and you can adjust and make it look the way you want, whether that is messy or absolutely perfect.
This look will last you hours, and easy to take out with less of a tug!
:)
What is your favourite lazy, easy, and quick hairstyle?
