Definition)
It
doesn't matter what a person sees you as on the outside, but it's the inside
that will make you beautiful. The face you wear will eventually leave you and
you will only have your personality, your heart, your soul, your memories. We
all get caught up on comparing ourselves to others, jealously. When we get
tangled in our looks we make ourselves feel down. Our inner critic tears us
down. Only you can encourage yourself, be fearless, and give yourself
confidence. You are the only one that will be with yourself 24/7. Only you can
truly make yourself happy. You should do things for you and not conform to
others because it will sound better or look better to others. So many times
I've found myself saying something the other person would like to hear rather
than telling the truth. Self love is something that you have to follow from
your heart/gut rather than your brain or ego. You will find what you were
missing in life to be happy when you find self love. It takes practice and I am
still working on this myself. I hope this post opened your eyes to self love
and helped you in some way.
From
my heart to yours...
xx,
Lexi
